Paonia’s Spring Service Saturday was postponed last weekend due to weather, but Senior Connections is moving forward to include the communities of Crawford and Hotchkiss on their own special weekend, Saturday May 4. We’ll be washing windows, cleaning gutters, pruning trees and bushes, weeding, cleaning up branches/sticks from yards. That kind of thing. Anyone who would like to volunteer can show up – you do not have to be a member of NFSC to volunteer and help your neighbors.
In Hotchkiss, we’ll be meeting up at the Fairgrounds starting at 9:00 AM. In Crawford, we’ll gather in the parking lot between Town Hall and the Crawford Library. We’ll work approximately three hours at requested locations, then return to eat lunch together. It’s fun and it feels good.
