About NFSC

We are North Fork Senior Connections, an independent, locally-run 501 (c3) nonprofit organization operating throughout the North Fork Valley on the Western Slope of Colorado.

Our mission is to help seniors to age in place.  We believe that all persons deserve to age in place if that is what they choose, and that the community has the capacity to support that choice.  We further believe that seniors have a role to play in the life of the community and unique perspectives that should be included, valued and respected.

We serve the entire North Fork Valley on the Western Slope in Colorado, including the towns of Paonia, Hotchkiss and Crawford and the mesas and unincorporated areas that surround them.

Board of Directors:

  • Bruce Woodside, Board Chair
  • Bonnie Eisenberg, Vice-Chair
  • Faye Sullivan, Secretary
  • Jenn Lukesh, Treasurer
  • Sheila Maki, Board Member
  • Marsha Brezonick, Board Member
  • Brad Thacker, Board Member

  • Program Manager: Laura Lee Yates

We previously operated under the umbrella of A Little Help in Denver, but separated from A Little Help on August 1, 2019 in order to honor the distinct rural culture and values of the North Fork Valley.

A Huge Thank you to Our Partners

We operate through partnerships with our volunteers and gifts provided by generous local donors, community businesses, and grants from statewide funding institutions – to all of whom on behalf of the seniors of the North Fork Valley we say “Thank you!”
