 comes a tourist guide. He escorts the wealthy Mrs. Effie Floto and her nie
 ces\, Mary Lou\, Gloria and Doris\, to Hawaii. The other quartet members s
 tow away on the ship. During a dinner party in Hawaii\, Ollie\, “Red\,
 ” and “Beans” start singing and Mary Lou joins them.\n\nThe hotel Or
 chestra Director\, “Clipper” Canovan\, puts them on they air and they 
 click\, and start the search for a sponsor. Toby Spencer urges Pete to ren
 ew his efforts to become a radio star and suggests her father\, Walter\, a
 s a possible sponsor. He owns a cannery for which J. B. Lawton furnishes t
 he pineapples. Be he and Lawton have an argument and dissolve their partne
 rship\, and neither has the money to do business alone. Lawton\, urged on 
 by Ollie\, “Red\,” and “Beans”\, and Spencer\, promoted by Pete an
 d Toby\, begin a contest for Mrs. Floto’s affections—and millions. The
  romantic contest is in action on two fronts\, and is complicated by the i
